Aircraft Lease Returns/Deliveries
We have the facility to provide experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who are conversant with all aspects of aircraft heavy maintenance including lease return inspections, maintenance programme bridging checks and airworthiness authority requirements. We will ensure your aircraft are returned from lease or transferred to another operator in accordance with your specific lease return terms and conditions whilst meeting budgets and expectations.
Carr Aviation are uniquely placed to source aircraft for both lease and purchase and as such we can assist the Operator in selection of available aircraft.
When the Operator has selected the aircraft Carr Aviation are then capable of carrying out a Pre-Delivery Inspection which is normally performed between three and six months prior to delivery.
Carr Aviation then send an appropriately experienced and skilled Type approved Engineer to perform a review of the Aircraft together with a review of the Technical Records associated with the Aircraft. The review is presented to the highest standard or at the request of the client to UK CAA E3 standard or an ARC Review specification.
The detailed report offers an insight into the compliance status of the Aircraft with lease return conditions, airworthiness requirements and general airline standards. This report will also offer a summary which can be used to identify any shortfalls and discuss and plan remedial action. This will assist the Operator when negotiating the LOI (Letter of Intent).
Carr Aviation will maintain a PRS (Problem Resolution Sheet) to ensure that the owner/lessor carries out the necessary corrective actions to ensure the aircraft meets delivery conditions as contained within the contract. Carr aviation will then meet with the lessor to discuss the delivery program and establish any modifications required by the Operator prior to the aircraft entering service.
During the delivery process Carr Aviation will perform an on-site review of the aircraft records for final compliance with Lease Delivery Conditions and Airworthiness Regulatory Requirements. The findings of the Pre-Delivery Inspection will be used by Carr Aviation representatives to close out discrepancies previously raised.
Carr Aviation can manage and negotiate on behalf of the Operator as to the content of acceptable discrepancies contained within the contract .
